Objectives, Target Groups and Timeline of the AI Act
The EU AI Act promotes trustworthy AI, protects health and fundamental rights, and establishes uniform rules. It applies to providers, operators, and distributors of AI systems from August 2, 2025. Deadlines and guidelines are defined until 2028.
